Love this picture of from SI.com of Hill doing the "J-E-T-S" chant after his selection:
Undrafted Free Agent
A quick recap of his pro day by mayock. I'm really loving this pick, seems like a good kid too.
I was kidding, he's going to suck.
what makes you think he I'd going to suck?
If its the lack of catches he had remember that Calvin Johnson and Demarius Thomas came from the same system, its an offense that heavily runs and rarely passes. Receivers don't get alot of catches its how its designed.
if its the limited route tree he has then again just like Johnson and Thomas he wasn't asked to run anything else but a go route. But he will learn that here in the NFL because no draft pick is a finished product.
he's highly coachable, you try telling a 6'4 4.3 wr to do nothing but block, which he is fantastic at. this kid has immense talent and size but has a great work ethic to match.
in my mind there is no doubt he's going to succeed
WOW IM SUPER HAPPY! We have a guy to stretch the field!
I agree Supe. Is it fair to say he's the most gifted WR in team history? Does not mean he won't be a total bust, but have we ever had a 6'4", 214, 4.3 WR? Been a fan since '81 and I don't recall any.
Vinny T., who worked out with him pre-draft called him a faster Keyshawn. keyshawn was pretty badazz for us, only lacking break way speed.
Also, kid seems like a worker, and will block his ass off. I love the pick.

is there video of that somewhere...searched the utubz but came up empty..
The kid is Edwards with speed but has to learn the ability to go over the middle and not get lost
Makes great catches but sometimes has the nack for dropping easy ones
GREAT blocker and probably faster in pads in a straight line than Holmes. If he were a 6'0" receiver he'd probably be Mike Wallace fast
Great aspects to his game but things that need to be worked on, hence why he was a 2nd round pick
Hill was .03 slower than Wallace in the 40 at the combine.

There's a clip of it at the end of this video:
GGG's wow just saw we took Hill "GTech" plays ball in Rome Ga. nice pick lets go JETS!
Undrafted Free Agent
Calvin Johnson did not play in a triple option.
He played under Chan Gailey at G.T.
