    ....and now there are TWO

Without making any judgement on any of the players there are now 2 rookie players on the Jets and Pats that will be forever (or at least as long as they are in the league) linked as far as fans are concerned.

While they play different positions and in different styles of defenses, the relative success or failure of Coples and Jones is long going to be a topic of discussion between Pats and Jets fans....fair or unfair as it may be.

The same now goes between the 2 new Safeties of each team. Tayvon Wilson and Josh Bush will now become linked and their career paths will be as heatedly compared as Coples/Jones.

Wilson and Bush were both rated as 7th round picks by CBSsports, and both were "reaches" by teams that needed help at S, though the Jets didn't "reach" nearly as far as the Pats did. ;)

Its contentious, its competitive, its sometimes historic in nature, but the "Border War" is NEVER dull

    Coples and Jones . . . yes.

Wilson and Bush . . . no. Not the same round. Wilson taken much higher so therefore he should be better player. Barely a reach by the Jets. Gross reach by Belicheat.

picking a 7th round grade with a 6th round pick isnt really a "reach".

I'd agree with you about Coples and Jones but not the other guys.

The Nats picked a 2nd round prospect in the 1st and a should-have-been UdFA in the 2nd.

The Jets drafted a guy that was consensus top 10 at 16 and a late round prospect in a late round.

bush was a mid 6th round pick

wilson was a mid SECOND ROUND PICK

ken tries to compare them because his Buchsbaum has them both as 7th rounders...

it was a bit refreshing to spend some time this AM at the Draft site which is pretty much Chowd Troll Cheatriot frontrunner fan-free.

I think the only solution, really is to just ignore this pack of bandwagon clowns

Hey now there are THREE. Now we can compare ex-rugby players now that the Pats have drafted Nate Ebner, who was a special teams standout at OSU, and ANOTHER Player no one ever heard of.

what a mindless post? In five years, one of these guys wont even be remembered (if history is correct) and the other has about a 10% chance of being ahousehold name.

    stir the pot much?

Why don't we just compare WAGs. I think our QB (not sure which one though) is winning.
