Nice job. Definitely not crazy. IMO . . .

    1. 50/50.

    2. No. But it won't matter. Greene will split time with one of the other RBs. But Greene will start.

    3. That isn't much of an improvement. 20/10 would be nice. 2:1 TD to turnover is a must.

    4. 100%.

    5. He is not an every down player. I think he can get 8-10 sacks depending on if our other guys can get him some 1 on 1s.

Probability of happening (first below listed has highest probability of becoming true):

    3

1 (If #3 becomes true - by default - #1 becomes true as a QB only)

    4

5 (May still get 10 sacks - but will be situational. Cannot stop the run)

I like the optimism by this guy:). Thats not really a "bold" prediction with respect to Sanchez though (to the OP). He had 3400 yards and 26 tds this past season lol..only thing he didn't get from your "bold" prediction was his interception total. I think a better benchmark for growth by our QB would be something like 3700+ yards, 28 PTDs and hold under 17 total turnovers. He'd capture my heart with these numbers:)

    My Bold Predictions:

1: Tim Tebow Will NOT Start a game Tebow will start if Sanchez gets injured

2: Terrance Ganaway over takes Shonn Greene as our starting RB by week 6 and is successful Mm, perhaps. I think Shonn will probably try and mentor the kid.

3: Mark Sanchez throws 3400+ yrds 20+TD less than 15 INTs and 60% comp If he's not running for his life constantly thanks to Wayne "Turntable" Hunter, I could see it happening. Still, Wayne gonna Wayne.

4: Stephen Hill wil lead Jets in Receiving yrds and TDs Thrill Hill will lead us in Rec Yds, but not by much. He's gonna be getting doubled by at least week 3, and so that will free up Santonio to get some numbers.

5: Aaron Maybin wins Starting OLB role and has 10+Sacks Agreed. Maybin will cause Mayhem.
1 - YES
    2 - YES but a bit sooner I say by week 4
    3 - NO, more like 3700 25+ and 12
4 - NO, maybe Yards but not TD's
5 - NO, I think Davis wins the starting role by mid season at the MLB spot

JMo this is the way I see it.(with a little help from Mrs cleo.)

    1. NO , at some point Tim Tebow will start at least one game. It tough a team prepare for sanchez and they get a heavy dose of Tebow to start the game. Sanchez comes back in some point.

2 NO way. Shonn Greene is still the Jets best back and its not close. If Terrance Ganaway was in a Houston Texans style of rushing attack he might be more of a challenge.(thats the system he would thrive in) It takes this guy too long to get to top speed and he has no ability to get to the outside. don't see him being very successful in the jets scheme. I think B powell has better chance of getting more carriers than Ganaway.

    3. Jets are going to rely heavily on the run. Don't know if he has that many Td but could see more successful chances down the field. So yardage might be close to that figure. This one a possibility.

4 If It for Wr- I say S Holmes leads the Jets because Hill going to take a safety with him. Thus freeing up holmes . Not to mention Hill still a raw receiver. Still think D Keller will lead the Jets in yards and Td's(sanchez security blanket - Sanchez has to look more toward his receivers as he really predictable)

    5. Maybin will not come close to 10 sacks . Your Third round choice has better chance of getting more sacks than Maybin.(i know he playing inside but I see his blitzes being very effective.

So, my bad, I just realized this is not at all what OP intended when I first responded, but the 5 predictions he made are all very interesting "quick hit response" discussion points, so maybe this thread should just keep going as is... i.e., agree or disagree? and why? kinda like a pop quiz

Allen & Bush become the starting Safeties at some point in the season.
Made this thread so people can post their bold predictions for the Jets next season

    My Bold Predictions:

1: Tim Tebow Will NOT Start a game
Unless Sanchez is injured. Tebow doesn't start as a better option over a healthy Sanchez.
2: Terrance Ganaway over takes Shonn Greene as our starting RB by week 6 and is successful
No chance, unless Greene is injured. Ganaway takes some carries from Greene but Greene is the starter.
3: Mark Sanchez throws 3400+ yrds 20+TD less than 15 INTs and 60% comp
Add a couple of completions per game, or avoid games like the Raven massacre and those are Sanchezs numbers in '11. Not that big a deal.

4: Stephen Hill wil lead Jets in Receiving yrds and TDs
Doubtful. Holmes is miles ahead of Hill right now. Hill has tons to learn, his learning curve is steep. For all his faults, Holmes is a very good WR, can't forget that.
5: Aaron Maybin wins Starting OLB role and has 10+Sacks
I can see this one. If he's bulked enough to be a factor vs the run, he's the starter. And 10+ sacks is reachable given his production as a mid season guy a year ago.

If what Rex is saying is true, and Tebow will be getting up to 20 snaps per game, there is no way he will come close to those numbers.

If those snaps were playing QB you would be right but if it's as a RB,TE or playing ST it may not be..

Maybin failed in Buffalo because he was asked to be a starting player.

The guy is a pass rush specialist. Nothing more.

He didn't say he would get 20 snaps a game as QB.

He said he would be on the field for up to 20 plays.

    ST's, HB, RB, WR, TE.
