Tebow will be the Jets 2nd leading rusher this season.
Tim Tebow - 16 games + 12 backup plays - 165 for 887 yds, 5.4 ypc, 12 TD's

Knowshon Moreno - 2011, 7 games - 37 for 179 yds, 4.1 ypc, 0 TD's

Willis McGahee - 2011, 15 games - 249 for 1,199 yds, 4.8 ypc, 4 TD's

So while that's a possibility, I sure hope that it's not true.
The Jets need the RB's to do most of the running.
Tebow's runs are usually 'Big Play's' and they work best if not over used.
Redzone and 3rd or 4th down plays would be the 'best' way to utilize him imoho.

Also Big Strikes for his passing game can come in those kinds of plays.
Puts the D in a real bind to either stop the 1st down option run, or don't give up a Big Pass Play.

Opponents D =

Good calls Austin.

Newton will only get better and I think RG3 has a Newton-like rookie year as well.

Yeah, I think the Panthers are gonna break out. I think the Saints are in a tough spot, mired in controvery and suspensions... Has Brees even signed yet? And the Falcons are one of those teams I've just never been a buyer of. Always a bit overrated. Meanwhile, Newton is a beast.

RGIII is walking into a great spot, and the Redskins have the pieces to surprise a lot of people. I think the NFC East is going to be deadly this year -- I really like the Giants, Eagles, and Skins, and the Cowboys will be competitive.

It's between RGIII and Trent Richardson for Rookie of the Year on offense, and I agree that RGIII will have a Cameque rookie campaign. T-Rich will probably blow out his knee because he's playing for Cleveland.

Not exactly bold, but...

AFC East:
Pats>Jets>Dolphins>Bills

* Sanchez has a career year, helped largely by Hunter's progression (god-willing), but moreso by Hill's presence blocking on the outside, and providing a deep threat which neutralizes the safety in the run game, and opens up space for Santonio to work on the other side. Watch out for JK stepping up big-time the way Cotch did for us so many times in '10.
* Pats defense finishes in top 10 overall in points allowed
* Tannenhill proves he can be the real thing down in Miami.
* Fitzpatrick fizzles out while their defense takes a step up.

AFC North
Ravens>Steelers>Bengals>Browns

* Dalton suffers sophomore slump.
* Richardson doesn't surpass 750yds or 6 TDs

AFC South
Texans>Titans>Colts>Jags

* Texans go 9-7, only make playoffs because they play in the worst division of the 2012 year.
* Luck manages to 5 games as rookie starter, even with the abysmal team around him.

AFC West
Broncos>Chiefs>Chargers>Raiders

* Broncos win 10 games as Peyton becomes first player to win 5 MVPs.
* Jamaal Charles win rushing crown.
* Norv Turner is fired at end of season.

NFC East
Cowboys>Eagles>Giants>Skins

* Dez leads the league with total reception yards.
* RG3 wins rookie of the year.
* Like last year, this will be the best division in football, but their records won't show it because they'll be too busy beating each other up. Skins will finish 7-9 and still be last place, Cowboys will win the division with only 3 more wins at 10-6. Eagles finish 9-7, but don't make playoffs because:

NFC North
Packers>Bears>Lions>Vikes

* NFC North plays the two worst divisions of the 2012 year (afc south, nfc west). Both NFC wild cards come out of this division.
* GB has best record in the league again, goes 13-3.
* ADP doesn't reach 1000 yards due to injuries.

NFC South
Bucs>Falcons>Panthers>Saints

* Turner becomes a non-factor for the team causing MattyIce to regress.
* Cam has an outstanding sophomore year but with no supporting cast, still doesn't taste the playoffs.
* Saints only win 5 games.

NFC West
49ers>Cardinals>Rams>Seahawks

* Alex Smith regresses but still makes playoffs due to terrible division; 49ers lose in the first round.
* 49ers D does not finish in top 5 overall.
* Irvin doesn't record a single sack for the seahawks all season ala our favorite 'Ghost'.
* Skelton takes over for QB after 4th game.
Here are my 5 bold predictions

1) The Vikings are sold for a cool 2 Billion, and are moved to LA
2) RG3 has a better rookie season than Luck, driving the internet crazy. ( i do believe Luck will be the better QB over their careers)
3) The Bears win the NFC North, and Arizona wins the west
4) SF and the NYGiants the 2 NFC championship teams, do not make the playoffs
5) Payton Manning wins the league MVP, even though his numbers are dwarfed by Brady and the Pats finish with a better record than the Broncos.

And a bonus prediction: The pro bowl is saved, because as awful as it is, it is still by far the highest rated All Star game, and that is too much money for a network to lose this game. after they just spent a billion on NFL TV rights, and not have this extra NFL game to sell.
Already wrong on one of my bold predictions, I never thought the Viking stadium bill would pass, looks like the Vikings are staying in Minn. Next up Oakland, and than San Diego.
Still feel good about my other bold predictions

Giants not making the playoffs is definitley a bold prediction. I really hope you're right.

Is there a difference between bold predictions and wishful thinking?
