Better without Haley?
Earning a college degree for Ben Roethlisberger was relatively easy. Learning Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley's new playbook is a lot tougher.
i dont know why but any mention of a complicated offense scares the crap out of me after seeing Shottenheimer over-engineer everything game in and game out.

    Agree, 100%. Keep it simple.

You want to have some level of detail but ultimately it's still football, you have to beat the guy in front of you.

Santonio Holmes: "It was a little difficult to understand the language" of Schottenheimer's offense.

Holmes compares Sparano's offense to the Steelers' scheme he played in under (the since-fired) Bruce Arians.

Meh. We're talking about Big Ben. 3rd grade math is hard for this guy.

Ben's mind is pretty simple: "Throw. Run. Rape."
