You should get one. They come in handy if you ever need to turn your gas or water mains off in an emergency, depending on your set up.
I have a well and my house is nuclear powered.

If I screw around with any of the gadgetry, it voids my warranty.

I'm not sure if the law has extended to NJ, but on LI some townships are banning/restricting ownership of them (sort of like they do with spray paint) because vandals were shutting down gas mains and water mains and stuff. They told us about it at a recent FD briefing.

Why do you need a can opener for Nutella? It's a twist off.

And anyone else getting banner ads for private jet charters starting at $5000/hr? Must have me confused with SAR.

I'm thinking about getting one just in case some neighborhood roustabout throws a baseball into my yard.

Yup, but my ads start at $2500/hr. I require smaller planes.

Make sure you spend the extra money and get a new lightweight one, I think you might have trouble with the old heavy ones.

Shrimp por supuesto. I'd prefer to dice/mince those shallots a little finer, and maybe stir in some light cream and/or some finely diced bacon or pancetta to change it up. Have you ever tried cream in that recipe?
Looks damn fine as is. Definitely never saw that on the Fireplace menu though.

Nah, it's a citrus shrimp, not a cream one, that would be one big curdled mess given the high temps on the grill. The butter adds just the right amount of creaminess. And while I like to add pancetta to my clam sauce, this one has a lot already going on, so the extra saltiness isn't necessary.

Ridgewood NJ. Route 17 North. My wife's family used to own it, my father-in-law built it.

    Nice. Sounds tasty.

And my priave jet rental just went down to a Stokesian rate of $2500/hr.
