Mums! Plant Mums. There is real money in Mums. People have been know to balk at the price of Mums.
LOL.

I was actually thinking of getting some mums. :O

Everyone down here seems to be ripping up parts of their lawn (yes, the grass stuff without the weeds) and changing it to gravel with decorative rocks and drought-tolerant plants. No one wants to spend the money to water lawns anymore. I thought maybe mums -- hardy mums, no less -- might be a good alternative. :D

I thought Stokes was going to take him out yesterday morning, then in the afternoon it was looking like PK would get him, then last night I was sure Ragu was going to do it, the old Ragu would of (I like the new Ragu).

I thought about doing the Kamakazie thing, thought it might earn me some Hamper cred, but alas it is just not in me, so instead I just egged on the situation in my own petty way.

So Stokes gets major props from me, he did our dirty work.

Some guy's just aren't up to making the team, not there is a high bar set.

Any way I think Stokes red sauce is in fact just Ragu original.

I was looking forward to the red sauce recipe. It was his sopne's favorite. Stokes may never share that recipe now

    I think I have found a loop-hole for Stokes.

But I promised not to share it publicly.
I like my All-Clad's a lot, they cook very evenly--I just wish we had started with the stainless exterior finish rather than the LTD2 dark adonized finish--I throw them in the dishwasher and the finish now looks like crap. I don't really care, but it used to bug my wife. I've slowly been swapping them out for the stainless copper core pans. I'll probably just continue to add to my All Clad collection, never really thought about starting over.

We started our Wustoff collection as a wedding present from my sister and have been adding to it ever since. I think I have about 12 now. I like them alot, but they need to be professionaly sharpened every few months which is a pain. I've not tried the Damascus knives but I've heard good things about them--I don't want to try them for fear I'll just buy a whole new set! I can't abandon my Wushtoff's, some of which I've had for over 25 years :(

Sorry I asked, didn't see that scenario coming to fruition. This thread was funny, the give and take that goes on here gets really funny, but sometimes it goes over my head and others I can't tell whether you guys are playing or not. Oh well, take it easy. I'm even going to miss GMCJETS, he kept things interesting.

Check out these knives, in particular the Bill Burke and the Mamiya, crazy $hit. The Kasumi, Mac or Shun are more in this stratosphere price wise. Sharpness in cutlery on another plane, hope you find it interesting.

You might want to consider the investment in a few wet stones worth while instead of sending your knives out.

Tons of info on this site, the guy does professional hand sharpening, but is is very benevolent about sharing the wealth of information he has gained from a lot of experience .
