Thread: What Position is Our Weakest? Which is Our Strongest?

  1. #41
im surprised how little the OLine was mentioned. nothing could be weaker and nothing is more important. you dont know what the wrs and rbs can do until our qb has time. this, imo, was the biggest letdown of the offseason

strongest= sanchez hands down. youll see
I was surprised we neglected the OL in the off-season and draft considering how poorly that unit played last season. If the jets hadn't taken Coples the guy I thought would have been the next best option was Decastro not Melvin Ingram. Ditto for Mike Adams in rd 2.

Vernon Carey I think is worth consideration. He's not a great player but he's an ok Guard and can't be worse than Hunter at RT. At least he'd give Hunter some competition in TC and would also give us depth at multiple positions plus him and Tony Soprano go way back plus he's cheap.

Soon-to-be Mrs. Wes Welker, Anna Burns has spent the last 10 days helping the Patriots wide receiver prepare for the big game.

A lot of good THAT did.

She’s cooked his favorite meals — turkey tacos, eggplant parmigiana. Given him full rights to the TV remote. And kept chitchat to a minimum.

Seriously? A real connoisseur of food he is. Looked like he was eating Butterfingers.

Apparently, he's handed in his man card like Brady has.

We definitely could have upgraded RT but it's hard to say the OL is the weakest when we had 3 of the 5 go to the Pro Bowl.

I can't wait for Wes to retire and have this bimbo take him for all that he's worth.

    Weakest - RT and safety
    Strongest - CB and DL
I have to say I feel our CB position is probably the strongest. Revis, Cromartie and Wilson is pretty nice. But our safety is a huge issue behind our CB's. If Landry stays healthy.. That is one sick backfield.. Revis Island, Cromartie and Dirty 30. But it isn't a guarantee he will play the entire season. Who do we have as our safeties? Smith and possibly Leonhard again?

Our d-line is improving, we are adding youth and speed to our d-line, just brought in a good d-line coach, and rex's area of expertise is the d-line. We still have some molding to do with the d-line, but overall I think our defense as a whole will be top 5 again next year.

Our offense? Now that's a huge question mark. the O-line, the RB's, the QB position, the WR corps.. new offensive coordinator who never called plays before. It's a shame we have such a dominant defense, however the offense again is one huge question mark. I don't even know who my QB will be come week 8. Tebow or Sanchez? (I know, I know, 'nuff of the Tebow Talk.)

But what do you think our weakest positions are, and our strongest? How do we use our strengths and as well as our weaknesses the best we can?

Weakest: Head coach.

    Strongest: None.

    SAR I
I debated this point on this site and truth be told there are, IMO, less than 10 HCs in the league I would take over REX.

I started that debate as a REX doubter. Still am....but you'd rather have the coach at Dallas, Buffalo, SD ??..

The quest for an "X-factor" would have clinched it.

He was the play caller for Dallas when they were a top ten offense.

Yeah, what kind of dick wears sunglasses all the time, even at night and when indoors.

    What a dick.

It's not like he got his corneas burnt in an horrific molten oil splatter and lost vision in both eyes for weeks when he was a teenager, and still has extreme sensitivity to even the mildest of light.
Cornerback is definitely the strongest. Receiver is the weakest, RB right behind. IMO
Not sure I can say WR is the weakest, there is a lot of potential at the position with the players now on the roster.

I'd probably put Safety first, but maybe Landry and the two draft picks change that.

TE is also on my list.
