How long can a 3rd rounder holdout Arod?
I hear you....I'll still feel better when the deal is done....

The fact that Coples & Hill were both signed before him has me raising an eyebrow though.

It would still be funny (and classic NYJ) if a guy that got drafted two rounds higher than most predicted he would be selected was the ONE player to hold out from the entire draft.

Even Revis might hit him with a "come on, man..."

Maybe it was just a twitch.

    because it's a non-issue.
was one of the concessions in the new CBA. In exchange for rookie salary slotting, no more 5 - 6 year contracts. It's a tradeoff. Rookies are signed very easily (no more rookie holdouts) but in exchannge they get to negotiate for larger contracts sooner than they used to.

I am loving the new CBA for this reason alone. The days of rookie holdouts are gone apparently.
Good post man. Makes me cringe about the expensive busts in recent times and the Jets haven't been the only ones burned. Though he who shall not be named was amongst the very worst in terms of value for money

    LOL, if you say so.
