His on-field body language is terrible.

Everytime he throws a pick or fumbles, the camera zoom in to him sitting on the bench by himself sulking. You don't think his team mates notice things like that?

When is he going to storm off the field, smash down his helmet, and destroy a water cooler or something?
How many times did they say that about Eli? How'd that work out. Time will tell with Sanchez.

Even Peyton sulks with his famous Manning Face when he screws up (which Eli has also perfected). I honestly can't think of a single QB, elite or not, who doesn't have some famous moments of looking like a sad little b*tch on TV.
This is such a good point.

I'd definitely want Sanchez over Brady.
Look anyone with half a brain knows Brady is better right now then Sanchez....The point of my post is that every QB sulks when stuff doesn't go as planned to say Sanchez is not a leader because he sulks is dumb
Thats not enough.

Sanchez, once free, COULD go to the Pats and become an All-World HOF'er there.

Really, death is the only smart option. Perhaps even nuke him from orbit.

It's the only way to be sure.
The more of these threads I see, the less seriously I take them. How'd your boy Timmy do in practice today- if that was the regular season, he could have surpassed Sanchez's INT total his rookie year. :P
honest question here...

Does the QB HAVE to be a leader? does Sanchez have enough juice and faith of others in the lockeroom to act like one? does he need to have a monster season in order to be able to step to veteran guys when the time is right? Does he just need to stop making mistakes and not nessesarely have a big statistical year? Can he win us a SB, and be JUST ONE OF THE GUYS?

was thinking about it today, listening to NFL radio...curious what people think.
Leaders lead by example. So with that said, Sanchez can say all the right things and it is never going to matter. Sanchez must step up. If he steps up, he will have everyone's undivided attention in the lockerroom. They will believe he IS a leader.

Now, if he continues to play like sh*t? Everyone will disrespect him much like they did last season. It's normal for players to call out other players that they perceive are divas. They believe Sanchez has been handed everything without actually having worked for it. I agree with that stance.

The ball is 100% in Sanchez's hands. He can earn everyone's respect or he can continue to think the world is out to get him and lose his job. What's it going to be, Mark?

Don't know if I'd agree with that. First, would have to clarify the "when" and the "timing". Sure, Brady for example sat on his ass after the Pats lost. IF you are going to sulk, that is the time to do it, AFTER the game.

During the game ? That's a time to either be pissed off or optimistic, depending on your temperament.

Brady is far and away the biggest sulker in the nfl when things aren't going his way... It just rarely happens...
