The fan base isnt that small and the Rock was louder then MSG this series. (Not to mention a much better arena to watch hockey)

the influx of frontrunners jumping on the Devils bandwagon after this series will no doubt dramatically increase their total number of fans up to the 6000 area or so

Nothing better than that rally on our beautiful Quad and the festivities in the Carrier Dome back in 2003.

It's date nite so I'm out and I don't have access to the youtoobz, but Steve Sommers, in his open, just played Van Halen' Running With the Devil.

Anyone care to post it in this thread? It's totally appropriate.

Too funny, said The King is still looking for his crown. Lol.

Actually now that I think about it I wouldn't mind another cup we could then be tied with the the team with the most in the Tri-state, The Islanders.

Not that it mattered all that much, but all the more sweeter that it happened on the 18th anniversary of Messier's "guarantee".

Looks like we'll be hearing about that for ANOTHER 18 years.

Kudos to Marty getting to the Finals as a 40 year-old.

Talk about stealing games, that was all him.

Richards won a cup with TB and was Conn Smythe winner. How can you call Chris Kreider anything? And Del Zotto, he is a baby for gods sakes. Callahan? Come on, have you ever seen anyome play harder in any sport? Calling these guys losers is wrong.

Gaborick was either injured all playoff long or he has just flat out lost it, nowhere near the player I saw when he was with Minny. I question his effort and desire. Big Time. Tough to get on Henrik. How many playoff shutouts did he have this year?
