3 in a row against them is going to be an insanely tough challenge. You have to put fear in another teams heart to actually sense the come back. Last night was simply the Devils showing they have heart and wont go away easily which is always positive. The way to scare them is to absolutely drub them in Newark. Relentless forecheck, tons of shots, putting Brown/Kopitar/Richards types on their ass and coming away with a clear win. That ends the road winning streak and puts that thought in their head of 'holy **** we better win game 6'.
This team has faced 0 adversity throughout the post season. literally none. they started as an 8 seed playing with house money and then ran over 2 solid, if unspectacular teams. You dont know how they respond it yet. The other thing that favors the Devils (well nothing favors them besides having 2 possible home games) is the 2-2-1-1-1 format. In a 2-3-2 like the NBA uses the Devils would have to do last nights effort all over again and then play unbeaten road team twice at home.
