Im totally hatting on this as when i was younger IT geeky guy this was not a cool look, but now im 36, married with 2 kids and its cool to be a nerd.... Chicks really like this look.

But in all seriousness i read a buisness article how these athletes see there is more money to be made and they are highly marketable with this look rather than the thug out look.

    LOL

That would definitely be Bunk and We Beys reaction at Dwayne Wade.

    No question about it.

Easier to get endorsements when you do your best to keep a clean cut look than it is when you're tatted up Allen Iverson rapping about killing "the snowman."
Is there even glass in there? Or, are those just frames?

The Oklahoma City guys are even worse.

Durant looks smooth as hell with those glasses and suit (no homo). I have no problem with that look. The other guy, OTOH (is that Westbrook? I don't really follow basketball), looks like an absolute clown to the point that he really should get a red nose and a wig.

In my haste I couldn't remember if it was "thrown up on" or "had diarrhea on" by a unicorn.

    Either way.
Yes. It is a fashion statement. It has nothing to do with being nearsighted or farsighted.

So if you have 20/20 vision and want to go for the geek look, you dont need the lenses.
I understand they want to look professional and glasses aid in their cause. This is documented, lawyers will often request that their client (the defendant) wear glasses during the trial, so as to appear professional/educated to the jurors.

Nevertheless, they need to put some lenses in... it looks retarded without them.
