(CBS/AP) - A freezer malfunction at a Harvard-affiliated hospital has severely damaged one-third of the world's largest collection of autism brain samples, potentially setting back research by years, scientists said Monday.

Agreed. All these brains are donated by the families of autistics who have died, usually under tragic circumstances. Unfortunately, there will be plenty more where they came from. Of course, the government health agencies would say otherwise, as they have yet to even classify autism as an epidemic. I guess something has to affect more than 1% of the population for that?

EDIT- Yea, it's the hampur, I know. Sorry for killing the funny.
