17. Josh Freeman
16. Alex Smith
15. Cam Newton

After sCam's 2 seasons at UF behind Tebow, and after his 3 team rules violations, he left for JUCO and eventually ended up at Auburn, where his dad said that he didn't have to 'sign for free' this time....

In the NFL: (where Cam has had a better team and every starter advantage)

Tim Tebow -- 19 TD's to 9 Ints for a 2.11 to 1 Ratio
Cam Newton - 21 TD's to 17 Ints for a 1.24 to 1 Ratio

Tim Tebow --- 9-7 (.563)
Cam Newton - 6-10 (.375)

So obviously those results would make Cam #15 and Tebow #30.....

It seems that many still don't understand that it's the TD to T-O's, leading to the W/L record,
instead of the passing yards or the comp%, that makes you or breaks you as an NFL QB.

Maybe we should trade a 5th rounder for Cam then, and he can be our 3rd string QB

Totally agree.

If we had Alex Smith instead of Mark Sanchez, would anyone be declaring us SB bound, despite jumping to a "better" QB? They're all relatively capable guys who aren't good enough to be difference makers -- guys who are young with the potential to improve or guys who will be replaced within a few years.

I've been anti-Tebow from the beginning, but even I have to stand up declare BS that Gabbert is ranked ahead of him.

Gabbert is by far the worst starting QB in the league. Couldn't hold Tebow's jock.

That ugly remark deserves an 'in kind' response imo, so here we go.... ;)

That's the kind of 'sharp critical thinking' that led you to a late season loss to the lame donkeys,
who didn't even have a QB, they just had a punt cover guy that beat you anyway..... (lmfao)

Good Grief:eek:

And that kind of clear and unbiased thinking shows your true quality.

Passing - 19 TD's to only 9 Ints on his first 400 NFL throws.
(1 Int per 44.4 NFL throws)

32 TD's to only 16 Turnovers on his first 560 NFL plays.
(1 T-O per 35.0 NFL plays)

Leading to a 9-7 (.563)W/L record for an otherwise 4-14 (.222) lame donkey team.

Yep! There's a lot to hate about a totally incompetent guy like that, I'm sure...

Start Mark, play Tim, and let the chips fall where they may....

He throws so few INTs because he's such a terrible passer that the ball is skipping five yards in front of the intended receiver. I don't need stats -- I've seen him play. I saw him play for three years in college, I've seen him play for two years in the NFL.

The guy just isn't an NFL caliber QB.

He's a Jet now, so obviously I want him to succeed but I don't beleive in him for a second.

Or maybe you're to stupid (no disrespect intended) to be able to read the actual results of their play?

In the NFL: (where Cam had had a better team and every starter advantage)

Tim Tebow -- 19 TD's to 9 Ints for a 2.11 to 1 Ratio
Cam Newton - 21 TD's to 17 Ints for a 1.24 to 1 Ratio

Tim Tebow --- 9-7 (.563) <<< Ugly Winner
Cam Newton - 6-10 (.375) <<< Pretty Loser

But maybe with all of those Jet SB wins, some of you guys have become partial to the Pretty Losers.... :P

You've watched him in both College and in the Pros huh?
(take your head out of that warm dark place and you'll see better) ;)

College - 88 TD's to only 16 Ints for a 5.5 to 1 Ratio, setting the SEC All Time PER at 170.79
(P.Manning - 89 TD's to 34 Ints with a 149.0 PER at Tenn)

TT - First 16 Pro Starts - 19 TD's to only 9 Ints in his first 400 pass attempts for a 2.11 to 1 Ratio.
PM - First 16 Pro Starts - 26 TD's to 28 Ints << NFL Rookie record for Ints for a .93 to 1 Ratio.
(Projected HoF P.Manning's Career is 399 to 198 for only a 2.01 PER)

TT's First 16 NFL Starts = 9-7
(PM's First 16 NFL Starts = 3-13)

So anyone with clear seeing eyes can be sure that;
Tim CAN'T THROW A FOOTBALL AND GET ANY POSITIVE RESULTS
at either the college or the Pro levels.

And it's a real good thing that you didn't get to decide Peyton's NFL future after his first 16 every advantage NFL starts,
(of Namath's either for that matter)

But you are still welcome to your totally biased/faulty opinions that don't depend on what a player actuallly
accomplishes on the field, as reflected in the actual game stats and results.

Cause heh, what you think you've seen is a lot more valid than just the actual game stats.....

I'm glad you at least acknowledge you aren't a Jets fan...

That charade the other day of being one in '69 and shifting to the Broncos and college fans following college players and blah fargin' blah was infuriating...
