He was in the first PG movie I ever saw...

The Poseidon Adventure. I loved that movie as a kid.

    Rest in peace!

I remember a scene from "Bad Day at Black Rock" where Borgnine played a tough character who was harassing one-armed Spencer Tracy in a diner. Although the resulting fight scene wasn't supposed to be funny, I LOL every time I see it because they show Tracy with literally one arm tied behind his back kicking the crap out of the beefy Borgnine character. I thought that was just a bad job of movie-making there.

I don't think I'll ever forget his secret to longevity...

Ernest Borgnine is legendary. I'll watch anything he is in.
