Unhappy My car's ignition is busted and I'm stuck at work (*****es!)

I guess it serves me right for making fun of duck-faced people.

Anyway - I'm 100% sure this is due to a worn lock cylinder - my keys are so worn that they barely have any teeth left on them.

Somehow I was able to get a couple of replacement keys made that worked for a little while....but now I'm hosed completely.

Has anyone ever had their entire ignition or lock cylinder replaced on the spot? Are there any reputable auto locksmiths in NJ that anyone can recommend?

I don't know if it's awesome or sad, but I thought, word for word, the exact same thing.

Actually it's more likely the "I have no plans this week b**ches" threaderama is responsible.

    Now...you have plans.

The last guy that wore out his car keys to the point the nubs came off was prolly a Scottish Jew Pastriots fan.

I live someplace where you can leave your keys in your car.

    You live in Bed-Stuy.

    I don't understand.

I got stuck at the Jets complex in Hempstead a couple years back when Bobby Houston, Hugh Douglas and the rest of em played ball for the Jets.
my ignition got stuck and woundn't turn, that old dude security guard wouldn't give me a break said I had to move it right away. gas station up the street had to help me, yes he did! to the tune of 400 hundred smackers.
back then I was poor, could hardly make ends meet took me 3 months to get my car back with all the expenses I had.

Oh I lived in the Bronx went to hempstead to get a ticket and got stuck. I'll never forget that event. If you could only see me now.

Yes, he could extoll the virtues of GMC vehicles and tell us all how stupid we are.

**** that - luckily I was able to glom a ride home from someone, but they had to go 20 miles out of their own way to drop me off. I hate asking favors of people.

Probably - and no way - it's a 4Runner with only 160k on it...plus I just did the timing belt fiasco 10k ago.

I don't have Denali money lying around, you know.

    Wha? No I don't.
Plus I can leave the keys in the ignition all I want, it's not going anywhere.

Anyway.... Im trying to research this issue online and all of these websites generally have a 'shady' feel to them. Probably run by Latvian miscreants.

"Yes, we fix it. Tell us where car is and we meet you.

Give us license plate number and location. Zagreb see you there....come alone wit cash."
