    EXACTLY!

And don't try to offer reasonable suggestions to fix the problem. You'll get the whole "oh...so you think it's THAT easy, huh?" line.

My problem too. I call it the Snowball syndrome although it could be called other things. (Foilball, Hairball, The Blob) You're not just quibbling over an issue du jour but many issues past and present that you may have even forgotten but get thrown back in your face time and again. They even may have not had anything to do with you but you're front and center now so you have to suffer reribution often meant for others needlessly and pointlessly. Emotional not logical.

    16 years together.

    2 married.

    Happy.

In no way would I wish for change.

When a career .265 hitter suddenly hits .375, he's not changing anything!

These two capture it in a nutshell. And honestly, I didn't fully appreciate how its completely a woman thing as opposed to a "My wife" thing. Sure I knew it, but didn't completely focus on it.

I've never had a legit argument/fight with my wife about one discreet thing. Whenever we argue, which is not at all often (and perhaps that's part of the problem), it becomes the Omnibus Argument pulling in things from every direction including my family, my parenting ability (And I am an excellent father), my husbanding skillz (I'm a very good husband, but concede that there is always room for improvement) and anything else that she can think of.

Not surprisingly, these other factors often come out after I've made valid points or am otherwise fairing well in the fight.

Crash: Honey, don't worry, when I get home tonite, I'll fix the light switch in the bathroom and you'll be able to see fine when you brush your teef.

Mrs. Crash: Yeah, but your Mom is still overbearing, the sprinklers aren't hitting the side lawn sufficiently and you STILL have a small peniz.

You will all be happy to know that even the Mods can't see the poll results as far as who voted for what.

    Yes, I tried.
