Post New Story: Marcus Dowtin, "Prayed," Rex Ryan Would Be His Coach

It was at that moment Dowtin knew he wanted to play for a coach like Ryan, in fact he prayed he would play specifically for Rex Ryan.

"Well, a year ago I prayed that I would play for a coach like him ." Dowtin told Jetsinsider.com. "Actually watching the 'Hard Knocks' I prayed that one day I'd play for him."

For now his prayers have been answered and he...

Well Dowtin better pray to get healthy because he won't be playing for Rex by standing on the sidelines in shorts.

of course not, because the Roosters rule the hen house.

I would love to work for a boss that lets me do and say whatever I want with no consequences. Doesn't make him a good coach.

Players that want to win will want play for winners while the lazy malcontents will flock to Ryan.

Breaking news, a defensive player would love to play for a defensive minded HC who's only concern is defense.

Going into year 4, I'd be much more impressed if an OFFENSIVE player made the same statement about our HC.......

I seem to remember Sanchez, Holmes, Braylon, etc all saying that they love playing for Rex.

And would you expect starting QB Sanchez to say?

Holmes endorses Rex? Eh, not really, this guy has had strong complaints about his role on this team and it starts with the HC.

Havent heard a word about Rex from Braylon since he's been gone....

    LOL

Okay, you're right. Offensive players are disgusted by Rex and hate him with a passion.

Stay on point UT. I never said that offensive players are disgusted and hate him, just that Rex brings NOTHING to the table for the offense to the point where it is hurting the team. He doesnt appear to care about it as well with his comments this week.

Rex has talked to Steve Young, and he's going to give the offense plenty of attention, and sunshine. So the offensive players will all want to come here.
