Nobody paid it any mind. Not even a comment about how the beer in my hand must have been a shot glass.

No interest in golf. Actually it's more fear of public embarassment & spending money on it Im afraid of.

Used to read a lot in my college days - but then again the internet wasn't around back then - just budding really.

I remember using 28.8 modem on a Windows 3.1 laptop, using AOL 1.x or something. My God how archaic that was compared to now. :shakes_cane:

I am one of many photographers on JI. When I am not photographing more serious stuff to pay bills,

    I am eating wild mushrooms . . .

Or hanging out with my friends . . .

Or chasing cute girls around Brooklyn ...

Sometimes I just take photographs ...

Just read your review. I agree that there is nothing overly incredible about Winged Foot but it is almost always in great shape. I'll send you a pm with a couple of questions.

Yeah, my shoulder was shot last year. I think I tore the partially tore the rotator cuff and then totally screwed it up playing catch in the parking lot at a Jets game, when I overthrew a pass and nailed a BMW. Ironically, the same BMW I had pissed on earlier.

I'm really looking forward to playing again. With my son being born, tearing the cuff and then surgery, it feels like forever since I've been out there.

We're closed Monday so there will be nobody else playing on the course besides me... which is good since after a year and a half, I'm sure I will be hitting it every way but straight.

Yeah, great movie too. Probably the best golf movie, IMO, although it's always reviewed as one of the worst. A good entry for the "movie you loved that everyone hated" thread.

Flying. Someday I hope to own and fly my own personal jet. Perhaps a Cirrus SF50-

Another thing I would love to learn but I just don't have the balls to do it. I was seriously seriously considering it a few months ago and then that guy GMC'd his plane in North Jersey and took out his whole family, and I took that as a sign.

What course do you work at? I work at Hamilton Farms in Central Jersey as a summer job. Best perk is we get to play 4 days a week.

    LOL - GMC'd his plane...

Flying is inherently safe, yet it is also unforgiving. When something goes wrong, you have one shot and one shot only to get the thing back on the ground semi-safely.

So bump up your life insurance, and learn to fly, pvssy.

You guys ever play at Baltusrol? My dad has a business associate who is a member there, and got me out there one year for my birthday. What an awesome experience. Great layout, tough, long course. I parred the #1 handicap hole, though. That was my highlight of the day.
