I loved that show too. Ended way too early. But it was on a all womans station and Porta broke up with Ellen for a while so she killed the show. Kinda why I hate Ellen.

I'll offer up four right off the top of my head:

    -Wonderfalls
    -Dead Like Me
    -Pushing Daisys

All brilliant and quirky, critically loved, and all died too soon.

    -Odyssey 5

The best Conspiracy/Sci Fi/Scary show ever, vastly better than X-Files. Never even made it to the end of it's first season, was too early in the "New HBM/Showtime Original Programming Era".

OH, and a HUGE MASSIVE +1 to "Better Off Ted". That **** was brillaint.
Dead Like me I'll give that a yes too. It wasn't a great show but was better the half the shows that are on 10+ years.

I'm actually kinda shocked no one has said SGU. It was a little slow but as far as a star gate show it wasn't as bad as Atlantis. Which lasted a lot longer.

If it weren't on CBC (Canadian public television), it definitely would've lasted longer.

    Some great shows listed:

    Firefly
    Wonderfalls - quirky fun
    Max Headroom
    Breakout Kings
    Flash Forward

Did they really cancel these two?
    Alcatraz
    Brotherhood

Didn't like The Dresden Files that much but would have loved it if they followed the books more closely. Great series with lots of supernatural creatures, both good and bad. A lot more depth than the TV show.

Another one canceled after only 1 season from the UK:
    Island at War
It's about the German occupation of the Channel Islands and how the citizens deal with the "relatively humane" treatment by the Germans. Very interesting. Saw it on Netflix.

Two HBO shows that got cancelled recently:
    How to Make it America
Hung (it went 3 seasons but had a lot of potential to go much more and they got cancelled with many story lines that never got resolved)

Heroes. Season 1 was good, then strike happened and killed it

Just found out myself. Worst part is they left it on a big cliffhanger.

The major networks are too obsessed with 0.x% in ratings instead of seeing that the successful cable outlets are hitting it big with shows like Mad Men, The Walking Dead and, more recently, Longmire and Hell on Wheels.

Just to add a few more Breaking In. Only made me mad that they canceled then I saw Leveraged which is basically the exact same concept just not a comedy.

The Good Guys - I fell in love with this show. It had a Firebird and her. Soooo much potential.

Agreed it had a lot of potential

    Last year "The Ringer"
It had a solid plot and some decent acting I just think it was in the wrong network.

Firefly and Pushing Daisys were my 2.

Loved those shows. And "After Mash". How could that fail?

Was that the show where they work in a weapons development lab? One episode they installed light sensors to turn on/off lights when people were/were not in the rooms, 'cept the sensors couldnt detect the black workers. Non-PC comedy gold.

Yep, one of the best shows ever!

Another one that got cancelled too early - Deadwood on HBO.
