    Typical liberal pretentious media.

A gaffe is when Obama claims that he visited 57 states. Not when Romney offers his professional opinion (which happened to be a fact) about Olympic security. The Brits even expressed their own concerns over security. Not to mention that Americans are competing their.

As for what happened today with the "journalist" is more of an indictment on 21st century journalism than it is on Romney and his staff. That "journalist" will go back and get praise from her editor for stirring up controversy and getting her name and the name of her publication in the news. What she deserves is to be suspended. She was an unprofessional disgrace. Who is she to determine what is and what is not a "gaffe"?

And what he said about the Palestinians is the truth. They are ass backwards b.c of Arafat.

I don't care who started the thread. Has no bearing on my opinion.

Watching TV tonight and I heard some liberal commentators suggesting that Romney would have been better off staying home.

Yeah, maybe he should have played some golf or went to a basketball game instead.

LOL ... is that what went down?

I've been impressed by Romney the candidate. There's a rope-a-dope element to his way of not engaging the press.

I've said it before, but for Romney to a) be a hands on founder of Bain Capital, and b) be a Mormon who got himself elected as the Republican governor of Massachusetts ... these are impeccable qualifications for competency. The governorship speaks for itself, but I know what Bain Capital is without the mindless media onslaught that tries to paint his financial accomplishments as a weakness. He might be one of most competent individuals in the United States of America - and I think we're starting to see it in his campaign.

Funny how these "gaffes" of Romney are not particularly gaffes or noteworthy, yet when Obama essentially hands the Republicans a winning theme with legs ("you didn't build that") to in a thought out speech - it's laughably by the media until it cannot be ignored further - without ever being labeled, like the rest of Obama's many unforced gaffes, a "gaffe".

    That's right.

This is manufactured conservative outrage disguised as liberal outrage.

Hey, we're getting into crunchtime - and this time around, Obama (if I'm not mistaken) insists on not using a teleprompter. It will just be another in a long list of big mistakes that mark the Won-and-Done's re-election attempt.

Your posting has gone from see-sawing between good and bad, to just consistently horrible.

Are you just not trying any more? Or is this a summer vacation thing? We actually kind of miss it when you had something constructive to say at least on occasion.

I get the vibe he's doing what I used to (when I was his age).

Acting as forum foil vs. the majority right.
