Any of you utes drink this? Used to be about $4.99 a case, cold, (black label style!) at my local liquor store when I was a teenager.

Cool shlt, would have loved to see a young Who, Stones, Zep , etc... that would have been the ultimate to me

First time I saw The Who (my idols, especially Townshend and Entwistle), I literally cried with joy. The Garden was so full of wafting cannabis smoke that the souvenir shirt I bought reeked like you can't imagine. My Mom asked me about it the next day, and I said it was from the silkscreening process. Luckily they were off-the-boat folks.

I did have a Schlitz about a year ago. That was fun. Tasted like PBR actually.

Back when I was 18 (36 years ago) and worked in King Kullen it was on sale every other week for $.99 for a case of bottles...

I have to admit, very very little of what I drank ever came in cans.

When I drank cheap, it was usually one of a number of horribad options:

    1. Mickey's (Shorty Bottles)
    2. Budwieser (Bottles)
    3. Mad Dog 20/20 (Glass Wino Wine)
    4. Boone's Farm (Glass Wino Wine)
    5. Popov Vodka (Plastic Bottle)
    6. Cutty Sark Scotch (Glass Bottle, swanky)

Cans just didn't get much play, and beer was always better from glass than from aluminum even then.

Never heard of this store, or its finely crafted brew, until I went upstate to college. Always loved the insane store logo.
