Peyton Manning: "Champ Bailey is the best CB I've ever played against".

    about 6:20 into video

Someone needs to get this to Mike Tannenbaum for when he negotiates with Darrelle Revis next offseason.

Could you imagine if Manning was in a "New York type media" market and said that. lmao.

Well as good as Champ was/is, Reggie Wayne might say otherwise

His trip to Revis Island in the playoffs netted him 1 catch for 1 yd

Manning should know better as Revis was the deciding factor in the last NFL game he played (2010 wild card)

Reggie Wayne: 1 catch, 1 yard

he didn't say he's one of the best he's played against. he said he's the best. just stirring the pot man. is peyton just flattering his team mate or does he really think bailey is better than revis?

Who cares what he says about his team mate? Of course he is going to be complimentary thats what PROFESSIONALS do, they say the right things at the right times. Not like some of the Jets players who feel the need to disparage their team mates.

It's the equivalent of Rex saying someone on the Jets is the best.

Means nothing, because in all actuality he's not the best.

He is right. Because when they played the Jets, he didn't play against Revis. He avoided him.

I am sure when Peyton Manning said this, he was thinking to himself, "I have to say this to spite Darrelle Revis".

I mean, come on. Manning could give 2 craps about darrelle revis.

How could he know how good Revis is when he never throws his way?

Actually it's not, because when Rex says it people get their panties in a bunch and act like he committed a cardinal sin.

Yet somehow even Jets fans will bend over backwards to say it's not big deal for Payton
