This speech is amazing. He's bearing all that made him the man he is. We were very privileged to have him represent the Jets.

Pete Kendall and Brandon Moore in the crowd as well.

    Excellent speech, truly inspirational.

When I heard he wasn't preparing a written speech I knew it was going to be something special. That was incredible.

I am in awe, that was just stunning. As a speech it was almost a mirror of his career as a Running Back. At points it felt like it wasn't much, then almost awkward and you'd think he was gonna crash into the oblivion of many failed speeches, but at the end you look back at it and realize it really was an outstanding speech. I'm proud that he was a NY Jet.

Well said. His life story is so compelling and illustrates what a great country we are fortunate to live in. And, most importantly, how awesome God is.

Curtis has long been one of my faves. It's almost surreal to see him receive the highest recognition for his career and personal achievements.

    Take it easy there, Tim.

    Lol. Good one.....you got me.

Seriously, just listening to CMart's many challenges in life, and to overcome them along with his brushes with death, shows us all the power of the good Lord.

Unlike Tebow, I am not thrusting my Catholic beliefs onto others. But I will end there not to turn this into a religious discussion.

Yes, I know. I was trying to say that I am not thrusting my religion (Catholicism) onto others. I was not saying Tebow is Catholic. My fault....I should've structured my sentence with more clarity.

    Can't tell if sarcasm.

We'll just agree on Martin's speech being incredible.
