Thread: Jim Leonhard signs with Denver

Pretty smart player, but after consecutive years of season ending injuries, he could end up being a shell of what he once was. It was time to move on, because at the age of 29, I can't imagine a player fully recovering from both a broken leg followed by a fractured tibia. We're better off taking our chances with two 23 year rookies in Allen and Bush for added Safety depth.

Jim Leonard fails physical, put on PUP list

Newly signed Denver Broncos safety Jim Leonhard will begin his first training camp with the team on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, says the Denver Post.

Leonhard was signed by the Broncos last week, and is still rehabbing his knee after undergoing surgery in December, while still a member of the New York Jets. Going on training camp PUP means that Leonhard did not pass his entrance physical and will not be allowed to practice until he does so.

    Bye Jimmy.

You will still be my favorite Jets Safety of the past 3 years.

Can somebody take his grill off the JI coverpage? Integrity28, do your job.
