He'll miss a couple of weeks of camp, and will probably be back by the last pre-season game for a drive to get the cobwebs out.

He'll be ready for week 1.

Only positive from this is that it will give our young WR's a lot of reps and work.

And you think he won't skip a beat?

Timing between a QB and his WR is crucial.

Don't kid yourself. This is not good. Not at all.

Not to mention DB's will be targeting Holmes' ribs once he returns.
It's not kool-aide its the truth..You can wallow all you want but its not going to change anything...

Time for the WRs in camp to step up..This is their chance of a lifetime..

And didn't Holmes sit out 4 weeks in '10 and come in and produce...

Sanchez and Holmes have 2 yrs together now..He'll still get in a week or so of practice before playing...

Of course DBs will target him..He'll wear some sort of flak jacket...

Well this sucks. At least it happened now and not during the season.

The fact that you don't get the "Denmark" thing I think illustrates who is brain dead.

Its gonna be tough for him for sure, its hard to move or even breathe let alone run and catch passes with a busted rib

He so desperately wants someone to take the bait and start arguing with him about Tebow. Its killing him inside.

I would wait until the x-rays, but a couple weeks is a little optimistic. Wr is a tough position to play with this type of injury.

Just got back from the campus. Spotted Pettine walking around here at Greek Peak earlier in the day. He was on the phone.
For the most part the scrimmage was a bore. The defense dominated. The one drive that Sanchez moved the ball I noticed some of the starters on D sitting out. Hill was matched up on Revis every time he was on the field. Mark never looked his way. Not much more to report.

I saw about one hot girl the whole time, btw.

Exactly. Even though he was suspended in 2010, he could still work out and stay in football shape.

This really sucks. This is a broken rib. Not bruised ribs.

But he couldn't practice with the team...

    Yes, a broken rib..Not a torn acl...

Wonder if Rex told the defense to take it easy, with more conservative playcalling (less blitzes etc)...

The fact Sanchez is blowing the QB competition out of the water, and Tebow looks awful is killing you isn't it?

He was on the opposite side ( from the pic) of the field. He was wearing a " My other Car is a BMW " t- shirt.
