this may force them to use multiple TE sets a lot in camp. josh baker and cumberland could really put pressure on the younger wrs if they can help them win games early on.

Josh Baker is working to master a versatile position in Jets offense. Tony Sparano compares him to Chris Cooley:
    lol.

    Baker is no Cooley.

Someone who gets it. Its 4 days before the FIRST pre-season game. If
you were going to get nicked up its better to happen now. There are now
plenty of opportunities for the "unknown" WR's to catch the coaches eye.
We may have our own Victor Cruz in our stable of WR's they now have the
CIN game to show their stuff

When has Rex EVER been honest with the fan base? He's a notorious liar, I would go as far as to say, if he said they weren't going after WR talent that they almost certainly are ...

I would expect a signing within a week.

Yes we are down 2 Gannaways, but still have 2 McKnights and 2 Griffins still healthy.

I hate Twitter. Every time I hear someone is taken off the field I think they tore an ACL or something.

Fact is that players get dinged up every practice and take themselves out. Totally normal. If I was there in person, I would make nothing of it. But when you read it, it seems much worse for some reason.

    But I love Twitter.

Information is a gift and a curse.

I saw the whole quote and he said he didn't want to compare the two, but that Cooley was an example of the position Baker would play.

Exactly...Vrentas had the whole quote in her full article but chopped to say that Baker = Cooley.

“He has a unique skill set to me right now,” Sparano said. “Different than a lot of players I’ve coached in the past. He kind of reminds me a little bit — and I don’t like comparing players, probably shouldn’t do it — like a Chris Cooley-type of skill set.”

Should be good for Kenrick Ellis to get this many snaps.
