My daughter said: "Why does the stomach of their jersey look like the doorway to a dog house?"

My wife said: "Why are they so sweaty if it's only 72 degrees in Cincinnati?"

The Nike uniforms look ugly. I blame this on the poor underage slave workers that Nike pays with coins to create their crappy sneakers and attire.

I don't mind them. The tummy taint has to go though. What dumb idea.

It makes little difference, because they look so ugly, but the real culprit here is the different fabrics that Nike decided to use. In the name of making a very good piece of technical equipment they screwed up the colors because each fabric reflects light differently.

At least we're not alone, not like Nike picked on the Jets. Other teams, however, realized that this was going to look weak and so they put accent stripes under the arms in an attempt to hide the sweaty parts. There's no getting away from the doghouse door though.

You can see how different lighting affects the colors. In this shot from the unveiling, the opposite of what happened tonight can be seen.

Due to the very 'basic' design of the body of the jersey, the Giants will look just as bad as we do.

When we wear the whites, the pouch pfail wont be as bad.

The Dolphins ones looked beyond bad as well.

The pfail pouch is brutal, but the sweatquator is even worse.

They look terrible. How long is this deal with Nike for? I seriously don't want to have to look at that trash for too long. Maybe they'll fix it next year?

The hats blow, too. The whole 59fifty or whatever thing sucks for anyone who isn't a hip hop kiddie and wears their hat crooked.

This season is already turning into the worst ever. Horrible team, horrible apparel and at this rate I wouldn't doubt New England wins the Superbowl. It would just make sense.

The jersey looks streaky and like a patchwork quilt. Which self respecting Jets fan would be caught dead in that $hit? Even the blue and mustard Titan jersey from last year looks better than the Nascar hodge podge look they are currently sporting. Looks like a clown outfit. Certainly not shelling out $200 or 200 rupees for that crap

I thought it was very noticeable on the 49ers jerseys as well. I'm assuming that it will look really bad with any home jersey (doesn't seem to effect the white away jerseys). Probably the only team won't have this issue is the Saints due to the fact that their jerseys are black.

Either way, I hate these new jerseys. I can only hope that the NFL and Nike will get this sorted out or something. Not that I expect that to happen, though.

Terrible, terrible, terrible ... I presume they would have done tests with these jersies under stadium lighting.

How they could have gone forward with these patches is beyond me ... a real step back.

Is there an email address that we can all voice our displeasure at ?

Presumably the low sales over the next few months will tell them all they need to know but fans voicing their displeasure en masse should be heard.
