Did anybody see the SNY commercial last night during the game with the Jets toothbrush falling into the toilet? Was a pretty good metaphor for being a jets fan.

    Which 30 years?

If we're talkin 1842 to 1872 I'm inclined to agree.

Game started 5:30 mtn time, called it good after Tebows first series. Went out and had kurabuta pork shoulder tacos in a hard shell and cans of old Milwaukee! I felt good!

    It's ridiculous.

Week 1 of the preseason, people. Coaches don't call plays to sustain drives to score TD's. They experiment around with different plays. They're not worried about points, they're worried about seeing if things work. If they don't, they look at the tape, redesign or scrap.

Marvin Lewis called Rex Ryan and asked him not to run the wildcat...and he obliged. Apparently, calls like that are fairly common in the preseason...makes it apparent that coaches aren't calling plays to win games in the preseason.

The Lions went 4-0 in the preseason and then promptly went 0-16 in the regular season. But to SFJFTSOT (stupid f*cking Jets fans that should off themselves) the preseason means EVERYTHING...

I produced one of those little shrieks tonight watching the last quarter of the game.

I thought I was going soft when I suddenly found the strip unbearable... hence blow-ins like me populating the Hampur.

Didn't we (the Jets) go 4-0 in one of Richie Kotite's two pre-seasons ?

That's why ever since I am kind of relieved when the Jets loose their first preseason game, 4-0 in the preseason is a jinx of epic proportions.
