But really, Coples looked great out there. Tebow was fun to watch, too.

Look, jokes aside, there wasn't alot encouraging tonight. Sanchez was under constant pressure. Th OL looked so bad that we're wishing for Hunter to get back, and he was terrible last year. The running backs looked very mediocre. Bilal Powel looked just like he did last year, tentative, stutter stepping before getting to the line, and not showing the supposed improvement that they were raving about in Cortland. Stephen Hill dropped an easy pass, and was almost killed a couple of times going up for Tebow's high ones. Tebow can still run, but again no great improvement throwing the ball despite off season pitching gurus. The defense was ok, but the first team let Dalton move the ball pretty well. Coples at least made a good first impression. All in all, not a great effort or a promising start. I know it's only the first preseason game, the sky is not falling, but I was disappointed.

Yes, the backs looked pretty bad. The Oline was a huge issue all night as well. Coples was impressive (even if it wasn't against the #1s). The D was ok, but nothing spectacular.

The team needs to fire Schotty again at the very least.
