The jets will attempt to run a legit offense the 1st couple weeks. But it wont be succesful. Bad oline, average rbs, average recievers and average tight ends, turnover prone qb etc.

They will start 1-3 and rex and tanny will hit the panic button because they will both lose their jobs if the Jets go 7-9.

So in comes tebow and the gimmick offense. And you know what, the team rallies behind tebow and start winning games. It wont be pretty, but they will end up 9-7 and just miss the playoffs.

Now woody has tough decisions. What to do with rex and tanny? What to do with sanchez? Do you give tebow a full year in an offense he is comfortable in?

If you do not see the season playing out like this..........well your just fooling yourself.

No chance of winning a SB with Tebow as the starting QB. What else is there to say?

I pretty much agree. But with the upside that there is a decent chance we could possibly make the playoffs with Tebow. With Sanchez I can't see it the way our offense looks. Similar to what Tebow went through in Denver last year. Orton starts 1-4, coaches panic, fans will boo Sanchez, Tebow comes in, gets fans excited after he makes a bigplay or avoids being sacked, team rallies around him and god knows what will be possible for this team by that point.

    Based on 1 preseason game?

Some of you all are just flat out smoking crack. I won't get into the "who is the better QB" argument, because it was one single preseason game, and the first one at that. We have no idea what coaches were working on or what they wanted to see.

That said, Tebow did just fine and hate to burst some bubbles, his passing improved dramatically from last year. He was 4-8, but of those 4 misses, 1 was a drop, 1 was an absolutely clear throw away, 1 was either a throwaway or an off target deep ball and 1 was an INT.

The INT was a ****up pure and simple. He shouldn't have thrown that ball where he did. That said, the pass had very good form. Matter of fact, ALL his passes last night had good form. On his 4 completions, they were all on target and had a nice spin.

Think about what you didn't see last night. Where were the wounded ducks from last year ? Where were the bounce passes in the dirt ? Where were the passes that missed receivers by 5 years ? Guess what ? They weren't there.

Does Tebow still have to work on his passing game ? Yes. His footwork and his mechanics aren't quite there yet. Does he need to work on his reads and recognition ? Yes, those aren't quite there yet either. Does he need to work on getting the ball out even faster ? Yep, that too. And he needs to work on his progressions some more as well.

That said, if you watched his passing last night and you think that he hasn't improved DRASTICALLY over what he did last year, then you are either clueless, blinded, and/or smoking some serious crack.

Last year, tebow didnt have the pats in his division. And sadly, we will make the switch to tebow a week or two to late and we will come up short of the wild card.

Based on everything we've seen in camp, based on the first preseason game. And if you look at last season it doesn't take a genius to figure out the similarities and that this is not a different offense that'll break records this season. It'll be very similar to what we've seen last season.

The Tebow love fest from some of the delusional posters here is absolutely insane. The guy is a 50% passer at best. Yes he can run, but thats because he cant throw, tell me when a running qb that cant throw has won the Superbowl? Last year was pure luck for him. The Bears game alone was some of the dumbest football Ive ever seen played by a team(the bears stepping outta bounds and fumbling gave the game away). Mark Sanchez is light years ahead of Tebow in every elemnet of the game. The problem is we have only 1 decent receiver and a mediocre running back. But keep rooting for Tebow, youll be a fan of another team next season

Decent chance though that he'd go 4 for 9 throwing to the floor or ceiling.
