    Post New Story: Sanchez praised, but Jets Offense Continues to Sputter

    The Jets offense stumbled out the gates Friday night against the Bengals, recording -3 yards in three plays on the first drive and 38 yards in 11 plays on their second, both resulting in zero points.* Mark Sanchez threw for 21 yards on four of six passing and was sacked twice.

    Tim Tebow had success scrambling for yards, but completed four of eight passes with an interception.* Granted the play calling was as vanilla as it gets, the quarterback sacks (McElroy was sacked three times) and turnovers may be a hindering, ongoing problem for this year's offense.

    The struggles continued on Wednesday.
