The Falcons are one coach away from a Superbowl. They've inherited the Chargers mantle.

The first 3 series the Falcons did nothing. The Jets only played 15 snaps or so the first game against the Bengals. Whose to say what we would have done in the 2nd quarter. The problem is that you probably didn't watch the 1st quarter of the Bengals/Falcons game

So who played the rest of the Jets game? And doesn't the second quarter count?

Ummm, the Jets 1st team only played a quarter of the game against the Bengals. That's the only part of the team I am talking about. My point was that the Falcons starters played a lot more tonight then the Jets starters did. But in the same amount of time the Jets starters played, which was one quarter, the Falcons starters did nothing in the first quarter. That was my point.

They come up small in big games. They are a soft dome team.

I didn't realize the 2nd pre-season game was a big game. My bad.

They said on Sirius NFL Radio today that Bengals have one of the best front 7s in football... Right up there with SF.

No one wants to say it? ...Alright, I will. Taylor Mays is making plays out there. He lit some mother truckers up.

He played well last night, his best hit was probably against his own guy, he killed Burfict on one play.

More like one coach away from possibly winning a playoff game.

I wouldn't bet on it though.

"Matty Ice" is awesome inside the Dome.

Put him outside and he isn't nearly as good.

Put him in a playoff game and he's Matty Ice Cold.

He played pretty well against us. I remember him tipping a pass and getting some good tackles near the sidelines.

i would make the case that the Jets OL is significantly better than the Falcons OL. They don't have a player as good as Nick Mangold or DBrick.

and fwiw the Jets beat the bag out of the Bengals physically. They lost 2 starters on defense and a starter on offense. The score didn't end up in the Jets favor but they brought the wood to the Bengals.

Bit, I couldn't watch the game, only highlights. Is this true? Because if it's true it makes things a little better, being that the Bengals are physical (not to the level of Pittsburgh and Baltimore) themselves.
