some of you are probably too young to remember this guy, but now that he's a Pat let's hope it's the second coming of Skeets

total different type of player...SDemps s an actual football player but tiny at 5'7....he had a productive but injury prone career in college....Skeets was not even an average player who was only in the league because of his speed....speed alone is not enough in this league...Demps is nice if healthy but not getting him is not the biggest thing..this is a Gator alum talking.

Demps just doesn't like green beans, apparently.

I keep seeing it said that Demps is injury prone. Kind of strange since the kid played in 49 games in his 4 years at Florida. He might have missed some games here and there, but that happens to just about everyone.

Low risk high reward. If he sucks, it's not like the Patriots are counting on him. If he's good on just kick returns, it's a huge win....

He will be used on kickoffs and maybe along with hernandez in the backfield.
McDaniels uses the screen a lot more than O'brien did so he might get 5 snaps there. Woodhead and Endleman are in their last years and they may be looking to move on in 2013

I can't see him outperforming Ridley and Vereen for the starting spots. If he did, it would be a huge bonus.

Kick returns and backup RB to give the starters a breather here and there. At least until Josh sees what he can bring to the offense. Agree that screens or split wide he, along with the other recievers would pose many problems for DB's and LB's.

I don't know where they are going to use him. They are already stacked at the running back position.

Why would he sign with the Jets or the Bucs? As a player you want to sign with a team that is the best fit. Niether the Jets or the Bucs have a proven QB.
