    The Electoral Tie

Look at RCP's electoral count, and their tossup states are:

Florida, NC, Virginia, NH, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, Colorado, Nevada

If Romney takes Florida, NC, Ohio, Wisconsin, and one (and only one) of Iowa or Nevada, we will have an electoral tie.

How likely is it? Well, if Romney doesn't win both Ohio and Florida he's toast anyway, which leaves him needing to take NC (I think that one will be in his camp at the end of the day), Wisconsin (a definite possibility) and one of the other 2 (I'd say Nevada is the less likely candidate), while losing Virginia (possible), Colorado (likely), and NH (all but certain).

It's not the most likely scenario in the world, but it seems like a realistic possibility.

A Wild Card in this race that favors Romney is that Obama's VP Joe Biden looks like his time on Earth is nearing its end very soon.

Healthwise, he looks and sounds horrible!

It's not pleasant to witness and it cannot be hidden.

And NO, Hillary will not replace Biden.

An electoral tie is then decided by a vote in the House of Represenatatives. The Democrats reaction to THAT would be awesome.

    Indeed.

Calls of "Stolen Election II: Electric Boogaloo!" would ring far and wide.

    .
    Yep.

Frankly, I wouldn't mind a constitutional amendment that says electoral ties are broken by the raw popular vote.

I'd rather reform the entire Federal Election system if we're playing the Constitutional Amendment system.

    -Federal Issued Citizen ID's

-Federal Universal Voting Machines used everywhere

-Federal Observers, i.e. Law Enforcement, ensuring no voter intimidation

-An Open, Transparant, Auditable Vote Tabulation System.

-Popular Vote for National Office wins, period. No more Electoral College, no more voting districts in States for National Office.

-States can retain their own election systems, bad as so many are, for their State and Local elections if they wish.

lol. I wasn't even thinking that.

I think it would be awesome to see all the "pundits" heads explode on national TV...and see their stupid map touch screens get the Blue Screen of Death.
