That type of play has plagued Sanchez his entire career thus far. It is disconcerting that he still makes that mistake.
BTW, OP, I think that was a crossing route, not an out route.
I don't think it was a mistake per se, but an incredibly lazy throw. Not excusing it by any means.

I'd have to give him an D, C- at best, for this 1st half.
Categorically false. Say what you will about everything else, but he was not holding the ball too long. Even on the sack he walked right into was almost unavoidable. Hunter got pushed straight back from the snap, completely wrecking the passing window(s). Or would you have preferred he try to reset and throw across his body (if that was even an option)?
Seriously, Sanchez is still showing some of the same tendencies that should be gone, but pocket presence is not something that was a weakness until last year, the same year Hunter became a full time starter.
After Woody went down, Hunter played well in 2010 at the end of the regular season and in the playoffs. Then, all of the sudden, he couldn't block last year and now. I don't understand it at all. Since the entire o-line went from playing well to total crap, you have to wonder if it's the scheme and/or communication issues. Otherwise, how could the entire line (except for Mangold) go from one extreme to the other. It's not like our o-line got old.
it lost it's moxie. no mojo, no uumph. it's run and pass plays. different OCs and OL coaches. best guess is that there's just not enough talent there. clearly the RT is an issue, but maybe brick and mangold aren't as good as advertised.
I can only speak for myself. I am not a Sanchez hater by any means. In fact, I have been one of his most ardent supporters, but how many times are we to watch him make throws like the pick six tonight? There is no excuse for that throw - period. I am starting to doubt myself as to whether or not Sanchez' career has been completely wrecked by poor o line play and the arrival of TT.
the problem is this looks like the same team that played down the stretch last year. No OL Hunter is still the RT Sanchez can never hit a reciever in stride. Even the screen to connor in the first qtr he had to reach to the max to get it and the pick was again behind hill and conley cant punt. What did this team do in the off season. The is the same team that collapsed at the end of last year
