As it stands right now, 8-8 would be like winning the Superbowl for this team.

The OL is the equivalent of swiss cheese and people can hold out hope for Sanchez all they want.

    Me?

I've already accepted that our franchise QB isn't on the roster at the moment.

    My view of the game...

Hunter is as bad as we all feared. as the old saying goes, "You can't polish a turd." And I don't care how good Sparano is, but he isn't blocking... Hunter is. Well... He's supposed to. But he's friggin' horrible. Embarrassingly bad. .

And Tebow... holy crap... That son of a b**** can't f*ckin' throw for sh*t.

Anyway, I don't usually take too much from the pre-season but they better get a replacement for Hunter because with him, Sanchez will be lucky to survive the season. And Sanchez's back-up can't hit the broad side of a barn.

Glad I was drinking during the game. Also glad I'm an optimist.

My one takeaway from this game is that Antonio Allen can play. Yes, I'm hoping Bell and Landry stay healthy all season, but Allen is legit.

If we don't get a replacement Hunter is going to be done after game 1 anyway once he faces Williams

I don't get it. Really. How can you watch this guy practice for at least three years now and not realize he's garbage? Unless it's Mark dropping back too many steps, I can't fathom any scenario at all where the RT play has been remotely acceptable. The guy gets beat constantly. No jokes. I'd fire Tanny on the spot if they go into the season with Hunter playing RT and he ends up getting Mark hurt.

I mean, Adrien Clarke was one thing. Wayne Hunter 2011 was another thing.

Going into 2012 with Hunter AGAIN? You don't get to fck it up that many times and keep your job. Sorry.

Seriously, we do all realize that Mario fkn Williams is lining up against Wayne Hunter week 1 right?

Dead on. It's infest homage that Tanny hasn't done anything about Hunter. And Rex is just as delusional if he thinks he can turn around. What the **** is going on with the leadership of this team? It's so frustrating.

DVR'd the game and just finished watching it. Here's what I saw:

    1) A lineman that can't block.
    2) A backup QB that can't throw.
    3) A punter that can't punt.

This is going to be a long season.

Infest homage that anyone could think having a backup QB who can't throw is a good idea.

    My view of the game.

Awful pick by Sanchez, but given his protection, he threw the ball pretty well, albeit mostly short stuff.

The fact that Wayne Hunter is our starting RT is gross negligence on the part of the FO and coaching staff. I still have yet to see Sanchez have the time to throw like just about every other QB I've watched this summer. Disgusting.

Ground and pound is a joke, how many 3rd and 2s and 3rd and 3s and 4th and 1s could we not convert to keep drives alive? Sanchez produced no points--but how about converting a freaking short yardage first down to keep the chains moving?

Laron Landry with that great hit. Excited about out secondary.

Eli still looked like he had some time to throw--wanted to see some Maybin in the backfield.

Tim Tebow is an awful QB--I'm admittedly not the most objective Tebow fan, but he is brutal. He had three nice completions--but his wind up looks like Luis Tiant--those balls are going to get picked against first teamers. He ONLY looks at one receiver and if that guy is covered, he takes off. I didn't see a great runner last night. His incompletions were laughable--horrid. There are a bunch of Tebow-teabaggers over on the Pfail Strip trying to convince the world that Tebow has a higher ceiling than Sanchez or that he moved the offense better because he put up 3 points (as opposed to the pick 6) and it freaking hysterical. They must not have watched the game. Tebwo looks tentsative in his drop backs and once things start to break down, he looks like a scared deer.

Why is TJ Conley still our punter--I realize Westy wants a directional punter--but I'm pretty sure that direction isn't in the first 10 rows of the seats.

    Coples and Allen looked good.

Jordan White is going to make this team.

The running game is awful. Not sure Greene, McKnight and Powell are going to cut it. How can we be "ground and pound" with that threesome? It doesn't compute.

I am slightly hung over. Need to watch the game on the DVR to see if I remember correctly.
