What do you think will change?

If Hunter is still starting on opening day, he will clearly have help in the form of a TE, RB, or, if need be, both.

Hopefully, that will buy Sanchez a little more time.

You would have a great point...if this was the first sign of adversity.

    SIGNS OF ADVERSITY:

    1. A terrible offensive campaign in 2011 culminating in an embarrassing 3-game losing streak to end the season.

    2. Returning 10 of 11 starters from that poor offensive unit and spending two draft picks that could be used to fortify the offense on a bench player.

    3. Failing to address, in any way, a glaring issue on the offensive line.

    4. Watching two preseason games in which the first unit showed all of the same weaknesses from the previous year, except with more inexperience at the WR and RB positions.

There is not a single player on the offensive side of the ball the currently strikes fear into the heart of any defense. There is only one player (Tebow) that defenses will need to gameplan for, and he doesn't even start. Yet somehow, we're supposed to believe that when the bullets start flying for real that the offense is magically going to come to life?

I haven't given up on the season in any way, but you can't tell me that there's anything to be excited about in terms of the offense. D looks great, but let's see how well they play when they're on the field for 35-40 minutes a game.

You are mistaken, Keller is a pro bowl TE(one than can't run block). He said so himself.

How can a team have so many TE's that can't block?

I can see the frustration for some people over this. However it is just as bad watching a team with numerous faults and having the happy happy joy joy club preach how damn good we are. They take the same view as Tanny and Rex, we are okay in a number of areas where it is very plain we are not.

The 'support the team, don't be critical' line of thinking is what gets you Wayne Hunter back as a starter after one of the all time worst years of a jet OT.
