    2nd round pick Randall Cobb (Drafted despite talent already on the roster)

    Brees
    Elite talent Marques Colston, Jimmy Graham
    2nd round pick Devery Henderson
    (1st round pick Robert Meachem, now departed)
    Continued investment in 1st round offensive talent: Mark Ingram

    Eli Manning
    1st round pick Hakeem Nicks
    Elite talent Victor Cruz
    Continued investment in 1st/2nd round: David Wilson, Rueben Randle
    Sanchez
    1st round pick/Super Bowl mvp Santonio Holmes
    1st round pick Dustin Keller
    2nd round pick Stephen Hill

    Sanchez has talent around him. He's just got to utilize it.

    Dustin Keller is average at best.

    That's not the point. The point is that good teams continue to invest in first and second round offensive talent.

    Packers already had Rodgers and stud receivers --> still went after Randall Cobb
    Saints already had Pierre Thomas / Bush(Sproles)--> still went after Mark Ingram
    Giants already had Nicks/Cruz -- > still went after Randle

    We can't completely avoid offensive playmakers, and then scratch our head when the QB has no one to throw to...

    Holmes = no-show since Week 17

    Keller = average

    Hill = raw, 100% unproven

    The biggest name is Holmes - who's more trouble than he's worth and therefore is negative value.

    On my mobile ESPN app Sanchez was ranked the #23 QB in the NFL - pretty much where many here on JI put him.

    The only guys below Sanchez were rookies or 2nd year players (which included Luck and RGIII, both of whom I'd rank higher than Sanchez in terms of potential). So that means Sanchez was the lowest ranked experienced QB in the NFL. And the arrow for him pointed "down" due to a lack playmakers in the Jets offense.

    What does me saying that he's the defacto HC of the Jets offense since Rex has no clue how to run an offense have anything to do with anything I said previously?
