Not easy in any engineering field...better hope his elective classes are full of as$ or hes out of luck. Architecture worked out well cause all the interiordesign girls have to take the same design classes mmmmm

No way he could have handled this was he was 18. He was way too immature.

Be he has made tremendous strides and finally grasped the fact that he had to grow up.. at least somewhat.

My son will be starting his freshman year at Franklin & Marshall, joining my daughter who is entering her junior year at University of Rhode Island. This makes the wife and I empty nesters and empty pocketers! Woot

All kidding aside I am very happy.

Exciting times! We dropped ours off last Monday for his freshman year at Purdue. It is really strange not having him around the house. I do feel like a true college Dad.....I received my first "Dad, can you deposit more money in my account" phone call last Sunday.

So, with the empty nest, you guys planning on travelling more? Maybe bringing the seksi a bit more often?
