    Way too much coverage

Has there ever been an NFL preseason as overblown, over analyzed, over covered, over the top, over EVERYTHING!
NFL live, Sirius NFL radio, NFL total access, NFL 32, Preseason football on Thursday thru Monday, NFL replay, camp tweets from twits, play by play tweets regarding every pass & every incompletion, every "maybe" sack, instant tweets on injuries that r nothing more than normal camp tweaks, 24/7 Tim Tebow, MJD, NY Jets football BASHING, fans going CRAZY, b4 the season even begins, CUT THIS GUY, CUT THAT GUY, FIRE REX, FIRE TANNY, SPARANO SUCKS, my god people, listen to yourselves!

Here's an idea, turn off the TV & Radio, gather your family up for a nice evening out, enjoy their company, smile a lot, talk about awesome things, try not to be negative at all, after all it is the last week of the summer coming up.

Let all these blowhards like Boomer & Carton, Mike & Mike, Franscesa, Lombardi, Chris Carter, Cimini, Meyta, Baldy, scream at the top of their lungs that the effing sky is falling while you calmly enjoy your life & get ready for a season of Jets football.

Do the Jets have weaknesses? Yea, like every other team! As soon as Tanny stops looking for quick fixes, (drafts a pass rusher, safeties, 2 young wideouts that Sanchez can grow with in Hill & White) instead of going all out free agents, and mortgaging the future, everyone wants him fired! What?

There will be many cuts over the next 14 days, hell the Patriots aren't keeping all their wideouts in camp, or all their tightends, We have a salary cap people.
We have 3 highly paid Olineman already. We have an expensive receiver, we have a QB that was taken B4 the CBA so we're paying him more than Luck & RG3.

Jets have 6 easy games on this schedule. Who's to say they can't start 2-0? Rex D always gives Fitzpatrick fits. Steelers are having their own problems with their Oline, & will face the Jets (a top 5 defense) with 2 rookies starting.
For me, it aint over till the fat lady sings, hell she isn't even Fat yet.
    Go Jets!

And the fans doing the *****ing whining, and joining in the hysteria and panic are like crack addicts eating every media diatribe, almost faster than they can read it on twitter, or on their televisions and radios.

It's the 21st century, omnipresent sports media, is a fact of life.

It's New York City (almost) so the Jets being a slightly more interesting story that the old school reigning Super Bowl Champions, they will command the attention. You have two qb's with movie stars looks, both with a history of some play off success on defensive football teams but both having poor QB ratings, getting knocked around by a porous oline in preseason. Rex is a good sound bite. These are all ingredients to stir the pot. Even Boomer Esiason is getting his second fifteen minutes of fame via Tim Tebow under the guise of serious journalism.

It's inevitable. I would say that fan engagement via twitter and online forums have coaches and front offices more sensitive to criticism.

In the Kotite years all fans could do was wear a paper bag over the heads, write a letter to Jets Confidential and throw stuff at Richie as he went into the tunnel. Now you just go to your phone and type your frustration.

If you watch Rex Ryans press conferences he is no longer the happy-go-lucky jokster promising Super Bowls. He is somber and even defensive at time.

    And it's about time!
This team got fat & happy after 2 AFCCGs. Last years lock out was terrible for the Jets who were resting on their laurels.
What is the one thing they say about teams after winning the Superbowl? Will they still be hungry? Will they wok hard enough?
It's no different after 2 AFCCGs, it's hard to get that far! 32 freaking teams in this league are striving for the same thing.
Last year was the best thing that could happen to this team! Sanchez (get your head out of your azz & work harder, stop moping, & become the effing leader we're paying all those millions to!)
Rex (Shut the hell up & coach the damn team will ya!)
Tanny (stop trading all your picks & get a pass rusher, a new LB, some safeties, & some young wideouts for Sanchez!)

    2012 here we come

Agreed...and the Dolphins are on Hard Knocks and get almost no coverage... maybe we should have done Hard Knocks and possibly HBO would have kept ESPN out of camp...

Definitely, it started with Tebow/Sanchez to no TD's in the PS. It's insane!

I agree. It was only a few years ago that I never would get to watch a peaseason game, just read about it the next day. Hell, it was only a few years before that when I could only read about regular season games too unless they were nationally televised.
