Signing Plaxico Burress for Vet Min

Would you do it? Considering he even said he would go for vet min because he's in debt

I would, especially only to use in the Redzone ..

    NO! He's old and slow.

It would be an improvement but what the Jets need is someone who can get behind defenses and/or turn upfield with the ball in his hands. Teams protect those types of guys(or potential guys) at all costs. So good luck. Laurent Robinson fell into the Cowboys' lap last year. Maybe there's precedent, I guess.

Well my main idea was to have Hill to stretch the field as #2 an then bring in Burress inside the 20

We can't be any worse offensively.

I like the idea, but it's tough to carry a situational receiver that can't play special teams.

Lol then what's Chaz Shillens? At this point I'd rather waste his WR slot for Plaxico

A big no to Plax. I really think he may have been part of the locker room issues last year.

I think Burress had issues with Sanchez...believe he said in the offseason something along the lines of Sanchez wouldn't lead the Jets to a Super Bowl.

How about you jackals make another suggestion instead of saying no to Plax. By all accounts, he was no more destructive to the locker room than BE. He called out Sanchez a few times - but so did you tards.

I'm not saying Plax is the answer - but what are our options. Honestly. We sure as hell can't go into the season With Holmes & a collection of china dolls.

instead of siging Plax can we cut Holmes?

  19. #19
At this point, yes, purely as a red zone weapon.

Better off with TO. Can you imagine the freakin circus this would make this franchise. Oh that would really suck.
