And Tebow can learn how to play the FB position and run-block at NFL level in 12 days because ... Jesus?

I love how all these people think Tebow can 1) learn a new position 2) learn it in 12 days 3) be effective at it and 4) this organization somehow never wanted him to be the next qb in the first place when they traded for him.

Meanwhile how dare you suggest the Jets sign Plaxico Burress to improve our red zone offense you are stupid, crazy, know nothing about football and are probably the anti-Christ.

I can see this happen (and want it to happen). If a guy like Peyton Hillis can power-run his way to a great '10 season with the measurables of a FB, Tebow certainly can as well.

Add in the ability to have a pass option on stretch type runs or tosses....it's genius.

Which is of course why the Jets will never do it. They'll continue to nourish Tebow as a QB because Woody likes the headlines it creates.
4.7 speed; all you need to know. John Connor is just as big and strong as tebow; not as tall.

Tebow can break down defenses; hedoes this by locating "his guy" and focuses on beating him. That doesn't sound like taking a handoff and hitting the hole with Joe McKnight quickness.

Tebow lining up at RB behind Sanchez would be a joke. Francesa and the Rex-haters in the media are waiting with great anticipation to see the Jets make this insane folly in a regular season game. Why did Mick Vick or Randall Cunningham never line up at halfback? Hmmm...

Why RB or TE? Maybe Tebow can line up at CB opposite Revis?

They don't want him for his QB services (lol), they want him for trick plays.

Tebow could become a Kordell Stewart "Slash" type of player. To make him a fulltime RB I don't think that would work. Give him 5 handoffs a game or bring him in on 3rd and 1 that's another story.

Who ever said he'd be ready in 12 days ? I think eventually Tebow could learn the FB position and excel at it. That would likely take a year or more.

In any case he definitely won't be ready at QB in 12 days (or probably ever).

We are really looking forward to seeing Tebow play FB in 2014.

I dont think tebow at RB would work to be honest. It's one thing to be able to run the ball when the defense is so spread out covering the pass then taking off for big gains, but when the defense is reading run and crashing down hard on him? Tebow isnt very fast, or very agile so making moves in the hole and breaking one isnt really his game. His game relies on the fact that the defense is spread out covering their zones and here comes this 250+ guy running down field and defenders have to come at him, usually at poor angles, and attempt to take him down.
John riggins had 4.7 speed also, jus sayin'
