No chance they sign him. I'd rather have Stallworth. He'd e a killer signing. Lol

Gaffney would be a solid pick-up.

Please sign Gaffney. He is very consistent and solid. We need a vet to come in who can be reliable, thats this guy

I don't think this is the guy you want in the NY media.

    Plus he sucks.

Gaffney would be a solid, safe pickup. Sure handed, runs good routes and, of course, comes with some intel from across enemy lines.

Given Hill's rookie struggles and the difficulty Schillens, Kerley and Holmes have had staying on the field, he would be a nice, stabilizing influence for not much money.

Also, NE has a deep WR group, so him being cut isn't necessarily a sign of declining ability.

At the very least, he'd be a welcome steadying influence. We REALLY need a possession receiver. Make it happen.

i'd much rather have Gaffney over the likes of Schilens.

our WR corps is full of unprovens and unknowns, it sure wouldn't hurt to have a solid vet like Gaffney to round things out.

Holmes, Gaffney, Kerley, Hill, Turner, White

Yeah but this guy is a moron. He'd probably Tweet the playbook.

In addition, the Patriots claimed first-year WR Kerry Taylor.

Taylor, 23, was claimed off waivers and awarded to the patriots from Minnesota. He spent a week on the New England practice squad last season in September. The 6-foot, 196-pounder was originally signed by Green Bay as a rookie free agent on July 28, 2011 out of Arizona State. He was released by Green Bay on Sept. 3, 2011. In addition to spending time on the Patriots’ practice squad, Taylor also spent time on the practice squads of San Francisco and Minnesota last year. He was released by Minnesota on Aug. 25, 2012.

He almost had 1,000 yards last year with Rex Grossman and John Beck.

He would be a solid pickup at this point. Not much better is likely to shake loose in the next 10 days.

Gaffney doesn't suck, hes a solid veteran WR. Hes the best option right now IMO.
He had 68 catches 947 yards last season with Rex Grossman and John Beck throwing to him.

And the season before that he had 65 catches 875 yards.

I don't know how anyone who watches football can justify this statement. Stallworth hasn't even been decent since 2007.

Meh, I rather wait to see what else becomes available, Id rather keep Schilens because of his upside.
