More than a week?President Obama held a press conference Tuesday and said FEMA has been on the ground in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama for more than a week. Response teams, he says, are in place to assist any area affected by the storm.
Does that seem odd to anyone else.
More than a week ago (today is the 28th, a week ago exactly the 21st, so "more than a week" puts them in Lousiana and elsewhere on the 20th or earlier) is before the storm was even a storm. The first NOAA warning that a depression even existed was the morning of the 21st at 9:00 am, when it was well out in the Atlantic.
No offense, but the way the media has been playing up Tropical Storm Isaac far in excess of what it is, and making endless comparisons to Katrina, and now the President (who can apparently see the future) has FEMA in Lousiana for a storm before the storm even became a storm?
Does everything have to played up for political gain?
