Because you're not allowed to ride the excercise bike out onto the field during pass plays?

If Baker didn't get injured, Connor would be cut.

He is a Sanjay Lal guy. My guess is that is the only reason why he is still here and the reason why he was here in the first place.

Do you see any difference in our WR Play after the addition of Lal. I think it's too early to really know, but have you noticed anything?

Jay Richardson, making $700,000, had uphill climb to make team despite strong preseason performance. Dixon expected to stick on D-line.

This is the only move that I'm not in agreement with. I know the Jets are deep on the DL, but the guy made plays all preseason.

Again, who do you release in favor of him?

I still say we should cut him. Better off with Smith in as Jumbo TE than having Conner tip off the running play anyway, and blocking no one. Just my opinion. Doesn't matter how well you block if you don't pick someone and block him.

Surprised as well as he has experience and was signed as a FA

Id rather take a chance on him over Dixon.

Here are the players they cut this morning, according to sources:

    OL Robert T. Griffin
    OL Matt Kroul
    TE Tarren Lloyd
    WR Joseph Collins
    WR Eron Riley
    CB Julian Posey
    S D'Anton Lynn
    DE Jay Richardson
    NT Martin Tevaseu
    P Spencer Lanning
    CB LeQuan Lewis

Have a bad feeling about Sapp...like I did last year with Maybin. When he initially made the 53 man roster...then Jets end up cutting him. Jets were very lucky to get Maybin back.

Just as I felt strongly that the Jets needed Maybin...I feel same about Sapp. Hope he can be kept on the roster. Thought they might keep Jay Richardson as a rush DE. Maybe this helps Sapp...cause he can do that and more.

Maybe they keep Harrison...he's lights out better then MTV.

Kroul didn't have a good preseason, so not surprised.

Absolutely. For all those claiming Richardson is a JAG, what exactly is Dixon then?!

I think Turner has looked better and I think he is doing some good work with Hill. He has his work cut out for him with this group of WRs.

My point wasn't about Lal as a coach. My point was that I think the only reason why Schilens would survive the cuts is b.c he has Lal in his corner. And I think Rex and Tanny value his opinion.

I wouldnt worry about Sapp. If the Jets want to keep him around, they will have opportunity to do so. He hasnt put anything on tape this pre-season, so I do not think he is on any teams radar at this time. Also he is still hurt. so I doubt teams see that much in him to take a chance on him right now.
