    NFL Moves (Non-Jets) Cutdown Weekend

    Mike Garafolo ‏@MikeGarafolo
OT Matt McCants waived. We'll see about practice squad for the 7th-rounder. #nyg

As @NotoriousOHM had heard, LB Greg Jones has indeed been waived.

    Brad Biggs ‏@BradBiggs
#Bears will waive FB Tyler Clutts, according to @caplannfl but the move isn't a surprise based on how offense has evolved under Tice.

    Adam Caplan ‏@caplannfl
Clutts absolutely can play in the NFL. Not practice squad eligible, however. He started 8 games last season for the Bears.

#Bears are expected to waive FB Tyler Clutts, per source. Was only FB on the roster. He was also their backup LS. Did LS last night vs. CLE.

James Jones. But they were unsuccessful before the draft. RT @brobcubs: @caplannfl any rumors of packers trying to trade wide receivers?

Not sure who the Bills have cut, but the Jets will probably pick up one of their guys for next weeks game.

The entire #Dolphins preseason was wasted on WRs who didn't even stick with the team. Naanee, Wallace, Gates, etc. Maddening. Poor Tannehill

I wouldnt be surprised if the Dolphins trade for James Jones. They have the extra picks from the Davis trade and he played for Philbin in Green Bay. Makes way too much sense.

I expect Tanny to move Connor and bring in a FB with starting experience, as well as blocking TE and vet WR

We could have had him for the Tebow pick and a 6th this year, I bet.

Jamal Westerman was cut by the Dolphins. Many around here thought he was the next lawrence taylor.

I expect he's looking for someone that can play both TE and FB. I don't think we plan on using a FB too much this year. I'd like to do away with it altogether since Greene runs better from a one back set.

TE Chase Coffman was cut by the Falcons. Liked him in the draft a few years ago...anyone know if he's been picked up?

Yes, that appears to be the case. Giants have some nice depth at RB.

    Giants cut RB Ware

I think we could use him as a complement to Shonn Greene. Powell just doesn't do it for me and McKnight is more of a KR/3rd down specialist.
