Rex purposely rolled in Coples in sub packages late on the game to keep h on his toes. Constantly had him running on to field #nyj

Jets ran five gasses in practice. No... No fights. Rex wanted some of guys who didn't play yesterday to get some conditioning in #nyj

Joe McKnight suffered a hamstring injury. Ryan said he's not sure of his status yet #nyj

Maybe Hightower doesnt sound like a bad idea right now.

Rex says coaches have looked at Bills tape. Players, for most part, have not. Maybe special teams #nyj

I don't get all the hamstring injuries this year???

I would have understood it last year - short off-season. But not this year!

Rex: "I really like this team." Says, overall, it has the chance to be his best team with the Jets.

Rex says "our defense is excited about our offense," despite scoring just one TD this preseason.

Rex Ryan expects everyone, with the exception of S Eric Smith (hip/knee) to be available for the season opener against the #Bills.

Rex and Tannenbaum also expect Wayne Hunter to start at RT this season, "he's our guy"

In other words, take everything Rex says with a grain of salt.

Pouha's return might be a controversy to this team. I think everyone has been impressed by Ellis' game. I read some posts saying Pouha as a trading bait...not a far-fetched idea.

I wonder what an unkown a 33 year old in his eighth year would bring?

No. Jets have depth for once, let's not mess with that.

Depth on one side of the team, but we keep forgetting our offense with no TEs, fullbacks, WRs and mediocre RTs.

You think a guy who was ranked as the 5th best NT last season is unknown?

Pouha isnt going anywhere. Guy is a vet who is still playing at a high level do to the late start in his career. If we dump him then what? Who is behind Ellis?

Guys get hurt all the time in the trenches.

Not to mention Pouha is a good locker room guy. Ellis is still very young and raw. Promising future though.
