Injuries happen over a grinding 16 game season...

I'm anticipating the Jets DL to play 24/7 kamikaze all out pressure defense. But to consistently get that kind of relentless play from your DL, you need quality depth to do this. Rotating fresh players in...as well as replacing the injured.

Exactly. That's why they need more than 6 DL on the roster.

Guys get hurt all the time in the trenches.

Not to mention Pouha is a good locker room guy. Ellis is still very young and raw. Promising future though.
I don't want Pouha traded because of his intanglbles, character and leadership; which is greatly needed with guys like Holmes hanging around the locker room. However, this organization has settled their offense on medicracy and it should be addressed by all means, even if it requires sacrifcing depth from our defense.

Presser is up already. Tweets are great but seeing Rex say the above... I think he really believes it.

yep...and fewer than 6 WRs, who are mostly mediocre anyway

He's going to be a terror in opponent's backfield.

I know he needs to get more reps and experience before he plays consistently at that level. But it may come sooner then next year. Cause Q is surrounded by a bunch of quality DL. And the Jets secondary always provides the rush that little extra time.

There will be more sacks this year due to more quality DL pressure. But...there's also going to be more coverage sacks this year...as a result of tight coverage, combining with improved pressure coming from the rush.

    Symbiotics...Secondary coverage(safety play included) + quality DL pressure = more sacks...knockdowns...hurries...and turnovers.

    More fun to watch too.

Four lowest scoring offenses of preseason: Bills (59), Pats (55), Dolphins (43), Jets (31). Sense a pattern?

Unproven QBs the Jets could potentially face this year: Tannehill (2 times), Luck, Wilson, Skelton, Gabbert and Locker.

Jets, Bills and Dolphins all went 0-4 in preseason. Pats went 1-3.

Relentless defensive line and end pressure could result in more sacks, and int's.

A relentless pass rush coupled with tight secondary coverage...against inexperienced QBs...is a good recipe for a W.

Well he's either waived with an injury settlement or placed on IR

I was surprised they didn't keep Riley.

David Harris said it wasn't a big deal and wasn't a high ankle sprain. I remember reading that somewhere during the week.
